Major NWO-ZonMW funding for Systems Biology of Bioenergetics
(February 2010)
NWO and ZonMW have announced that three Dutch Systems Biology Centres, including the Centre for Systems Biology and Bioenergetics of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre will recieve a total of 13 mEuro to boost Systems Biology in the Netherlands. National Mitochondrial Disease Day

Saturday, October 10th the NCMD organises in association with the VKS, VSN and the Energy4All Foundation an information day about mitochondrial diseases.
This information day focuses on young people, adults and parents of children with a Mitochondrial Disease.
The venue of the meeting is the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, Q-building, route 788.

Centre for Systems Biology and Bioenergetics

The Nijmegen based Centre for Systems Biology and Bioenergetics (CSBB) is launched today. The centre incorporates more than 20 different research groups of the Radboud University and Nijmegen Medical Centre working together at one University campus to model ATP production, distribution and expenditure in the context of human disease.

Master Class Mitochondrial Disease
(January 19-23, 2009)

In collaboration with research theme 2 of the NCMLS from January 19-23, 2009 a Master Class Mitochondrial Disease will be organized. Lectures will be given by Prof. Robbert Lightowlers (Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK), Prof. Massimo Zeviani (Milano, Italy) and staff members of the Mitochondrial Medicine Group. This Master Class is part of the NCMLS MSc Master's Programme in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease. The Coordination of the Master Class is in the hands of Prof. Martijn Huijnen en Assistant Prof. Leo Nijtmans. |
